There is a time in everybody's life that we end up staying at home. Some
people have a very clear idea of what to do with this time, but some just don't
have a clue. You can sit and watch TV all day, or you could make the most of this
time and do things you never found time to do before.
It's like finding a new hobby, or just finishing that job that you
"never had time for".
Here are some ideas of what to do in your time at home. Some may take
your interest, some may not. Ones that need to spend money on, and ones you can do with what you have
already got.
It's up to you to choose which one works for you.
Let's start:
Exercise / Yoga
This is a great thing to do at home. You can do it by yourself, or you
can look up YouTube videos or even buy a DVD.

Cooking
Cooking, or learning to cook, is a great idea for any age. If you have
kids, this is a great idea for an activity to do together. You don't need many
ingredients to make the smallest thing.
If you just want to learn something new, or just brush up your skills,
cooking is a good way to go when being at home.

Read
Quite a few people nowadays lead busy lives, and it's easy to forget how
great it is to sit down and read a book.
Whether it's one you've already read or trying something new, it is a
good pastime for when we are at home and don't have anything to do.

Organise
This can be anything. Whether you want to go through your wardrobe, or
that draw that just hasn't been sorted in years (Come on, we all have one of
these), now is a great time to do this, you'll be surprised what you can find!

Write bucket list
This is a great thing to do.
All you have got to do is sit down and write about all the things you
dream of doing in life and are determined to do.
Could be anything from bungee jumping to touring the world.

Watch movies/series
Now is the perfect time to catch up on those films and series you always
said you'd watch and still haven't.

DIY
Most houses all need a little bit of work, it could be from
going over the painting, to fixing a cupboard door that's hanging on one hinge,
or could be just re-arranging or re-decorating.

Write
It doesn't have to be anything big, or you don't have to aim to make it
perfect, but sitting down and writing, is a great way to pass the time.
It could be about yourself, about something that's happened to you, it
could be fiction, something you have dreamed about...
Possibilities are endless.

Go through your clothes and donate
Something that is always handy. Go through your entire collection of
clothes and chuck out the ones you no longer wear.
With this, you will free up space in your wardrobe and you'll be
donating clothes to those who need them.

Colouring
Nowadays, you can buy colouring books for adults, which has resulted as a nice way to pass the time as it gets you being creative and is easy to do.
If you don't want to go out and buy one, you can always print out
colouring pages from the internet.
It's also a great way to pass the time if you have children.

Board games
Great way to spend time as a couple or as a family, and also great for
when you have friends over.
If you don't own any, you can either buy some or ask around, I'm sure
there are plenty of people that will own some sort of board game.

Crafts
Now is the time to get crafty!
Get all the materials you can find and see what you can create with
them.
